It seems if you wanted to see sun this month all you had to do was schedule a festival. With 22 of 30 days seeing rain in the Portland area, the earlier Old Port Festival and this past weeks Greek, Strawberry and Lobster Festivals all had nice days. Food was the big draw at all three, but each had something extra, from traditional Greek dancing, to crafts and farm animals to Portland's waterfront. Somewhat different pictures then these appeared in the Northern, Southern and Portland editions of The Forecaster newspapers.
